Overview: He may be called Reader Rabbit, but your children do not just read. They, along with Reader Rabbit and Sam the Lion, are given an assignment to save the cloud people from the rain gear that is taking over Could Nine. To complete the task, children carry out several activities. These include anything from using money to buy toppings for a sandwich to feed the pet and win singing marbles to making words with letters provided to get a ladder to climb up to the rock person and win singing marbles. The program plays like a cartoon. This program is intended for ages 5-7; keep in mind, this is an approximate level and could be just as appropriate for a child of 8 or 9. There are 3 levels of difficulty that progresses as the child completes easier tasks. Parents may see how their child is doing with a progress report.

Good Stuff: Our family especially enjoyed the added musicals and the art collection that was included. They listened to songs and created moveable art. My first grader reported her favorite part was making the sandwiches because she liked the funny toppings that they could chose from like the bone, umbrella, and shoe.

Parent Notes and Warnings: Notice the arrow changes when you can collect something for the chest or follow along the path. The first few times your child plays you may want to go through the directions for each game and how to play it, until he/she feels comfortable with how to do each activity independently.
